On Sunday, a serious accident took place at the National Rally Cross Championship in Bughea de Sus, Argeș county, when a wheel came off a car, hitting two spectators. One of them, a man in his 50s, went into cardio-respiratory arrest and was taken to hospital, where doctors are performing resuscitation maneuvers. The race has been stopped and police have opened a criminal file to investigate the circumstances of the accident. The driver was tested and found to have no alcohol in his blood.
