Senate President Mircea Abrudean reaffirmed Romania's support for the European integration of the Republic of Moldova, highlighting the joint projects and the stability brought by this process.

Mircea Abrudean, the president of the Senate of Romania, stated that our country will continue to support the Republic of Moldova in its process of European integration, emphasizing the importance of this objective for the stability, security, and prosperity of Moldovan citizens.

During a conversation with Igor Grosu, the president of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Abrudean (photo) congratulated him on his re-election and conveyed Romania's support for Moldova's European path. He mentioned that Romania and the Republic of Moldova are increasingly connected through concrete projects, such as the new Bumbăta–Leova bridge, and through economic and social partnerships that contribute to the rapprochement of the two states.
