Renovation works on the Friendship Bridge Giurgiu - Ruse will resume on January 8, affecting traffic in the direction towards Bulgaria, with alternating traffic.

The intervention will target a segment of 320 meters on the lane towards Bulgaria, starting at 08:00. Although road traffic will be affected, circulation will be maintained by alternating on the remaining free lane, thus ensuring transit in both directions. During the winter holiday period, traffic was resumed without restrictions, and the works on the section closed in the direction towards Romania are nearly completed. The works will take place daily, exclusively during the day, and will depend on weather conditions.
