The ICCJ will reanalyze the conviction of Dani Mocanu

The High Court of Cassation and Justice has decided to examine the appeal in cassation filed by Dani Mocanu and his brother, sentenced to prison for attempted murder. The court has admitted the request in principle and set the first hearing date for March 17. The two are currently in Italy, having left the country following their conviction, and the Romanian authorities have initiated extradition procedures. The case is related to a violent incident that occurred in 2022 at a gas station in Pitești.
