The National Company Bucharest Airports (CNAB) announced that, starting from December 8, 2024, the traffic flows in front of Henri Coandă International Airport have been temporarily reconfigured due to the expansion of works for the future Otopeni metro station. This reorganization involves the arrangement of new access roads and the decommissioning of some areas in the public parking lot.

Stopping and parking of vehicles on the lane in front of the Departures Terminal is no longer allowed, and passengers arriving by public transport or taxis will have special drop-off flows available in the parking lot in front of the terminal. Buses and minibuses will exclusively use the arrivals terminal's platform, and the parking designated for them has been closed. CNAB recommends that passengers allocate extra time for travel and adhere to traffic restrictions and temporary signage.
