The former PNL leader and MEP Rareș Bogdan launched harsh criticisms against Ilie Bolojan before the PNL meeting at Vila Lac, stating that he resembles the Ciorbea Government very much. Bogdan emphasized that he is a 'full member' of the party and that his presence at meetings cannot be contested. He also mentioned that, together with Ludovic Orban, he managed to increase PNL's popularity from 14% to 28%. Bogdan also recalled the party's success in winning the Bucharest City Hall after a period of 30 years, thus highlighting his achievements within the organization.
