On Sunday afternoon, rail traffic on the Medgidia - Mircea Voda route was suspended due to a vegetation fire. CFR decided to remove both wires from under tension to allow the intervention of firefighters, starting at 16:00. The resumption of traffic will only take place once the firefighters have completed their work and the infrastructure has been checked to ensure safe transportation.
