Rail traffic is suspended between Izvorul Oltului and Izvorul Mures due to fallen trees, affecting four passenger trains.

On Tuesday evening, train traffic was stopped between the stations Izvorul Oltului and Izvorul Mureșului, Harghita County, due to falling trees that damaged the railroad track and power lines. The national railway company CFR SA announced that intervention teams have been sent to the scene to remedy the problem, estimating an intervention time of about three hours. Four passenger trains are affected and some of them are stationed in adjacent stations.
