On his first day at the Cotroceni Palace, Radu Burnete said that Romania is facing an existential crisis and that an administrative and territorial reform is essential, together with a reform of political parties. He emphasized the importance of a new contract between the state and citizens on taxation and highlighted the different roles of trade unions, politicians and employees. Burnete stressed that simplistic solutions are inefficient and called for an approach that reflects Romania's specificities.
