Russian leader Vladimir Putin declared on Tuesday that Ukraine is carrying out attacks on civilian infrastructure in Russia with the aim of destabilizing society.

These statements were made during a meeting with graduates of military and security institutions, after Ukrainian drones hit a refinery in Moscow. Putin emphasized that these attacks are part of a massive assault from the West, mentioning that drones are coming in large numbers to create uncertainty among the population.

He also mentioned that Ukraine's attacks on oil refineries have intensified, aiming to deplete Russia's funding sources.

Putin further added that Russian troops are on the verge of taking control of the locality of Kostiantynivka, a strategic point in the Donetsk region, which Russia is demanding from Kiev.
