PSD Iași has criticized PNL for the purchase of electric minibuses at exorbitant prices, exceeding 200,000 euros each, while the market price would be 90,000-100,000 euros. The Social Democrats suggest that the purchase favors a firm linked to the PNL, Aveuro International, and are calling on the Prime Minister to intervene to stop the waste of EU funds. In response, Iasi CJ president Costel Alexe defended the purchase process, arguing that it was transparent and competitive, in line with the law.
