PNL Deputy Alexandru Muraru has notified the AEP for possible violations of the legislation by AUR, requesting the cessation of the reimbursement of electoral expenses and an investigation.

Alexandru Muraru, PNL deputy from Iași, announced that he has officially notified the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) regarding possible violations of the legislation concerning the financing of electoral campaigns by AUR. Muraru requests the cessation of the reimbursement of electoral expenses of the party led by George Simion and the initiation of a complete investigation, invoking Law no. 334/2006. He accuses AUR of using an 'internship' program as a form of political exploitation of young people for illegal electoral activities, including operating a call center.

Additionally, Muraru claims that AUR's online campaign involved unreported expenses through fake accounts and anonymous pages, aimed at manipulating public opinion and misleading voters. He states that AUR is not an anti-system party, but a danger to democracy, demanding that AEP take firm action against the reimbursement of illegal expenses. Muraru emphasizes that the law must be applied uniformly, regardless of the patriotic rhetoric of the parties.
