The leadership of PNL has officially announced Ciprian Ciucu's candidacy for the General Mayor of the Capital, setting a campaign budget of 600,000 euros, coming both from the Bucharest branch and from the party's central funds. Of this amount, 300,000 euros will be allocated by PNL Bucharest, while the remaining 300,000 euros will come from the national budget. Ilie Bolojan, the leader of PNL, expressed confidence that Ciucu's administration of Bucharest will contribute to the country's development. Ciprian Ciucu stated that Bucharest represents "the project of his life" and presented an extensive vision for the development of the Capital over the next ten years, emphasizing the importance of transforming Bucharest into a true European capital.
