The Prime Minister of Romania, Ilie Bolojan, had a phone conversation with His Highness, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, in which he requested support for facilitating the flight corridors necessary for the operation of Romanian airlines.

The purpose of this request is to ensure the safe return of Romanian citizens. Bolojan expressed solidarity with the Emirati people in the context of the security situation in the Middle East and thanked them for the support given to Romanians in the Emirates. The two leaders agreed to continue cooperation to find effective solutions in support of Romanian citizens in the region.
