The Nationalist Party Reforming Romania Piedone (PNRR), led by Cristian Popescu Piedone, has filed a criminal complaint with the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) against Oana Ţoiu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, accusing her of abuse of office. This action was prompted by an incident in which a minor was not allowed to board a bus intended for the repatriation of a group of children from Dubai. The incident sparked controversy in the media and raised questions about the legality of the administrative decisions of the Romanian authorities.
Harsh criticism has been directed at Oana Ţoiu, including from the PSD, which has called for her dismissal, highlighting the seriousness of the situation in which a child was abandoned in the context of repatriation. Mihai Fifor stated that Oana Ţoiu's actions exceed the limits of decency and accused USR of a politics of hate and contempt. PNRR believes that the responsibility for this incident lies with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, demanding that he take immediate action against the minister.
