Deputy Alexandru Muraru, president of PNL Iași, stated that the National Liberal Party cannot support a government led by Eugen Tomac, emphasizing that he does not have clear political support and is built under the influence of the PSD.

Muraru explained that Romania needs a legitimate executive, based on the vote of the citizens, not a technocratic government that cannot be held politically accountable. He criticized the current configuration, arguing that there is no real independence and that responsibility is unclear. PNL believes that a prime minister must have executive experience and strategic vision, and Eugen Tomac has not demonstrated these qualities. Muraru concluded that Romania needs an authentic political government, not compromise solutions.
