CJSU Harghita has approved a detailed procedure for the monitoring and evacuation of the population in the area of the Praid Salt Mine, taking into account the recommendations of experts. This includes parameters such as the flow rate of the Corund stream, the salinity of the water in the mine and ground movements. Five alert codes have been established to manage the situation and the population is scheduled to return on August 13, 2025, after successful testing of the procedure.
