The bridge over the Buzău River, the second longest in Romania, is now open to traffic. It is part of Lot 1 Buzău - Vadu Pașii of the A7 highway and is 1.36 km long. The works are worth over 689 million lei. The opening of the bridge will improve traffic flow, redirecting it from the Mărăcineni bridge and the northern ring road of Buzău, thus contributing to increasing road safety in the area.
