OMV Petrom and NewMed Energy Balkan have contracted the Globetrotter I to drill two offshore exploration wells in the Black Sea in the Han-Asparuh perimeter. The drilling campaign, estimated at €170 million, will start in the fourth quarter and will last about four months. This initiative is aimed at Bulgaria's energy diversification and regional energy security with significant development potential. OMV Petrom, with more than 40 years of experience in the Black Sea, continues to invest in natural gas exploration and production.
