Nicușor Dan commented on the meeting of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan with a businessman from Vaslui arrested for corruption, stating that the interaction between politicians and businessmen is normal, but it must respect a limit of principality. He declared that he did not observe Bolojan exceeding this limit.

In the context of the corruption scandal in Vaslui, Nicușor Dan was asked if this case affects the authority of the Government, to which he responded that he will organize a press conference next week to provide more details.

He also emphasized that he was elected by the Romanian people for his position. The case also involves the president of PNL Vaslui, Mihai Barbu, who is being investigated under judicial control for influencing meetings between the businessman and state officials.
