President Nicușor Dan stated that, in his opinion, the resignation of an advisor who does not consistently support the official's positions is a normal practice in any country. He emphasized that, in such situations, the official should calmly and firmly communicate to the advisor that they can no longer continue the collaboration, and the advisor should then submit their resignation.
This was his reaction to the dismissal of Ludovic Orban from the position of presidential advisor, a decision made on Tuesday. Orban confirmed that he does not bear any grudge against the president and mentioned that he did not feel comfortable in this position. Additionally, Dan commented on Orban's entry into PNL, stating that every party has the right to establish and develop its strategy within the framework of democracy.
