PNL Senator Glad Varga announced that he voted for an important law in the Senate, aimed at reforming the management of forestry in Romania. This law puts an end to the practice of eternal bosses in Romsilva and the Forestry Districts, introducing a system based on competence and performance. According to the new regulations, leadership will be ensured through real competitions, with 5-year mandates, extendable only once, and annual evaluations.

Varga emphasizes that this reform will bring clear accountability in leadership positions, thus eliminating directors who hold positions for life. The law aims to protect Romania's forests, considering them a national asset, not personal property.
