Mayor Robert Negoiță has obtained approval for a Park&Ride underground parking garage in Sector 3, which will cost €146 million. The project foresees 1,895 parking spaces, but has sparked criticism from the opposition, who believe the money should be used to build a hospital, given the lack of medical facilities in the area. PNL MEP Andrei Baciu underlined the waste of resources and proposed changing the project's destination.
