The natural gas supply on Carol Boulevard in Bucharest has been temporarily halted due to a defect in the distribution network, affecting 1,179 customers.

On Friday, October 17, 2025, the natural gas supply on Carol Boulevard in sector 3 of the Capital was temporarily suspended due to a defect identified in the distribution network.

Distrigaz Sud Rețele announced that the measure was taken to ensure the safety of consumers, affecting 1,179 clients, both residential and non-residential, from the streets Logofătul Luca Stroci, Popa Rusu, Speranței, Inocenței, Armand Călinescu, Vasile Lascăr, Săgeții, and Tudor Arghezi.

Intervention teams are already on site to resolve the issue, and the resumption of supply is estimated for 4:00 PM on the same day.

After the service is resumed, clients are advised to check for any gas leaks and to contact the Gas Emergency Call Center in case of a gas smell.
