MMAP has achieved the PNRR objective regarding the expansion of water and sewage networks in localities with over 2,000 inhabitants.

The Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests (MMAP) announced the completion of 1,244 kilometers of water and sewage networks under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

These investments aim to expand infrastructure in localities with over 2,000 inhabitants, with 297 km of water networks and 947 km of sewage networks being completed.

Interim Minister Diana Buzoianu emphasized the importance of these projects for quality public services and environmental protection.

Additionally, 10,387 individual sewage systems have been implemented in small localities.

MMAP will continue to finalize projects for the expansion of water and sewage networks, encouraging local authorities to ensure the connection of communities to these systems.
