Mircea Lucescu, the coach of Romania, was discharged this morning and announced that he will undergo additional medical checks in Belgium. In recent days, information about his health condition has circulated, and the uncertainty regarding his participation in the playoff against Turkey, scheduled for March 26, has increased.

The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) has assured that it has several options for the coaching position, in case Lucescu is unable to continue. Journalists in Turkey have described the situation as a crisis for the Romanian team, considering the health issues faced by the 80-year-old coach. Decisions will be made by February 20, depending on the evolution of Lucescu's health condition.
