A 47-year-old man was rescued by firefighters after a landslide buried him in the cemetery of Mlenăuți, Botoșani.

The incident took place in the locality of Mlenăuți, Botoșani County, where the man was digging a grave in the cemetery. The soil collapsed, trapping him up to his knees. Firefighters from the Darabani Work Point and the Volunteer Emergency Situations Service intervened quickly, safely extracting him. The victim was handed over to the medical team and transported to the hospital for care.
