A 36-year-old man from Iași was arrested preventively after committing five burglaries in a single night, causing a total damage of 25,000 lei, including destruction caused by breaking and entering.

The police quickly identified the thief using images from surveillance cameras. In front of the police officers, he stated that he acted "out of curiosity," an explanation that surprised the authorities. The stolen goods, which included money, jewelry, and mobile phones, were fully recovered. Now, the man is in preventive detention for 30 days and a criminal case has been opened for aggravated theft and destruction.
