A 48-year-old man was arrested after he assaulted his partner and destroyed the windows of her car.

A 48-year-old man from Slatina was detained for 24 hours after he assaulted his partner, a 39-year-old woman, and broke the windows of her car. The incident was reported by the victim's 19-year-old daughter, who called 112.

The police intervened quickly, establishing that the aggression occurred against the backdrop of alcohol consumption and some contradictory discussions in the family. Following the incident, a temporary protection order was issued against the man, valid for five days, although the woman refused to wear the monitoring device.

The man will be presented to the Slatina Court for preventive measures to be taken.
