A 37-year-old man was detained by police on Saturday after causing a scandal at the Emergency Reception Unit of the Botoșani County Hospital. Unhappy with the waiting time for medical care, he insulted the medical staff and destroyed a printer in the waiting room.

According to the Botoșani Police Inspectorate, his behavior disturbed public order and peace, affecting the dignity of the medical staff. The man, who had a head injury, was detained for 24 hours, initially being investigated for destruction. The incident took place within the UPU Botoșani premises, and the police continue investigations for disturbing public order.
