Assault against medical staff in Brașov: A violent patient was apprehended by police after hitting a medical staff member.

A 46-year-old man was detained by police after causing a violent incident at a hospital in Brașov on August 14, around 2:00 PM. According to IPJ Brașov, the man reportedly behaved aggressively in the emergency reception area, urinating on one of the interior walls of the medical unit.

Subsequently, he assaulted a medical staff member on duty. The police intervened following a report and opened a criminal case for the offenses of assault or other violence against medical personnel and public disorder. The man was detained for 24 hours and was placed in the Detention and Preventive Arrest Center of IPJ Brașov.
