On Thursday afternoon, a large fire broke out at a company in the Aricești Rahtivani commune, Prahova, which is engaged in waste management.

The fire has spread over an area of approximately 1,000 square meters, causing significant smoke emissions. The authorities, through ISU Prahova, have issued a Ro-Alert message to warn the population about the danger posed by the dense smoke. The intervention is coordinated by the 1st Firefighters Detachment of Ploiești, which has mobilized seven fire-fighting vehicles and SMURD ambulances. Due to the direction of the wind and the large volume of smoke, the authorities have emphasized the importance of safety measures for the residents in the area.
