CNAIR has announced the designation of the contractor for lot 6 of the Craiova-Târgu Jiu expressway, which will have a length of 19.25 kilometers. The project includes a complex viaduct of 644 meters, parking areas equipped with charging stations for electric cars, and a road junction at Târgu Jiu.

The contract, worth 1.99 billion lei, has been awarded to the consortium Kalyon Insaat from Turkey and MIS Grup SRL from Romania, and the funding comes from the Transport Program 2021-2027. The design must be completed in 10 months, and the execution in 24 months. The lot will include 25 structures and a temporary discharge for the connection with the county road DJ661. The contract will be signed after resolving any potential disputes.
