Lot 4 Pantelimon – Glina of the A0 North highway is almost completed, but it cannot be opened to traffic.

Lot 4 Pantelimon – Glina of the A0 Nord highway, with a length of 4.47 km, is nearing completion, with the contractor UMB Spedition preparing for the acceptance of the works.

The general director of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol, announced that the physical progress of the works has reached almost 99%, with 100 workers and 11 active machines on site. Currently, the installation of pipes for water drainage and the application of the anti-corrosion protective layer on the 1.3 km bridge structure over Lake Cernica, the most complex part of the project, is being finalized.

Although the works are almost completely finished, the lot will not be opened to traffic until lot 3 (Afumați-Pantelimon) is completed, as lot 4 does not have an exit. The value of the contract is 312.63 million lei (excluding VAT), with funding provided through the Transport Program 2021-2027.
