A town hall in Galați County was robbed last night, the police are launching an investigation to identify the perpetrators.

The Ivești commune mayor's office in Galați County was robbed last night, with the thieves managing to steal 20,000 euros from taxes and fees. The individuals forced the door of the institution, cut off the electricity, and destroyed the server that stored the images from the surveillance cameras.

With the help of a saw, the thieves removed the safe from its location, dragged it into the hallway, and cut it open to steal the money, equivalent to 100,000 lei. The police have launched an investigation to identify the perpetrators of this daring theft.
