The police in Craiova are investigating the death of a 4-year-old girl found unconscious in a car. Her mother is being investigated for manslaughter.

The police in Craiova have launched an investigation after a 4-year-old girl was found unconscious in a parked car in a shopping center. The incident occurred on Wednesday, around 3:42 PM, when an ambulance crew alerted the authorities.

At the scene, the police identified the girl along with her mother, a 37-year-old woman from the commune of Călărași. Despite the resuscitation efforts made by the medical teams, the girl could not be saved and her death was declared. The police have opened a criminal case for manslaughter, and the investigations are being conducted under the supervision of a prosecutor from the Craiova Court to establish the exact circumstances of the death. A forensic examination has also been ordered to determine the exact cause of death.
