A 74-year-old woman from Craiova was found hanged in the 'Mihai Bravu' Garden, she died in the hospital.

A 74-year-old woman from Craiova was found hanged from a tree in the 'Mihai Bravu' Garden on Saturday afternoon. At the scene, the police were notified and intervened, while SMURD paramedics performed resuscitation maneuvers, later transporting her to the hospital in extremely critical condition.

Unfortunately, the woman passed away on Monday, and the Dolj County Police Inspectorate has opened a criminal case for manslaughter. Investigations are ongoing, under the supervision of a prosecutor from the Craiova Court Prosecutor's Office, to determine the exact circumstances of the death. A forensic examination has also been ordered to determine the exact cause of death.
