The Institute for the Investigation of the Crimes of Communism and the Memory of Romanian Exiles (IICCMER) will send an official request to the Romanian Presidency for the post-mortem decoration of Rodica Coposu, sister of the former peasant leader Corneliu Coposu. IICCMER emphasizes her remarkable contribution to promoting the memory of the victims of the communist regime and the fight for justice. This initiative is seen as a moral duty and an important step in strengthening national memory. Rodica Coposu has recently passed away, having had a significant civic activity.
