Following the meteorological warnings regarding high temperatures and significant thermal discomfort, IGSU draws attention to the extreme risks associated with heat.

After a tragedy in France, where two children were found dead in a car, IGSU representatives emphasize the importance of parental responsibility. They recommend never leaving children alone in vehicles, even for a few minutes, and to explain the associated dangers.

IGSU reminds that the temperature inside a car can rise rapidly to lethal levels, even when it is not extremely hot outside. Parents are also advised not to leave keys within reach of children.

In case someone observes a child or an animal locked inside a vehicle, it is essential to call 112 immediately to request help.
