Massive amounts of rainfall have caused flooding in Suceava and Neamț, with preventive evacuations and specialist interventions.

In just three hours, rainfall exceeded 70 l/mp in areas such as Gura Humorului and Parhăuți, causing floods on rivers. The Bistrița river exceeded danger levels and the Suha river reached flood levels. The Institute of Hydrology has issued code red warnings and Broșteni and Vadu Negrilesei have experienced severe flooding. Around 800 people have been preventively evacuated in Neamț county. Interventions are ongoing and Broșteni remains isolated.
