Alexandru Rogobete, Minister of Health, said that it is unacceptable that patients will be in pain in 2025, calling for the resignation of the coordinator of the Burn Center at Floreasca Hospital, who is on leave. The checks carried out showed that there were no shortages of painkillers, but highlighted communication and attitude problems among medical staff. The minister stressed the need for measures to improve the functioning of the burn centers and announced legislative changes to increase the accountability of medical staff.
