The new electronic road pricing system will include charges based on time of use and distance traveled, applicable to all registered vehicles. The postponement was decided in order to allow the phased implementation of the system, which will require the development of IT solutions and control equipment. The toll will be set according to vehicle category and will have to be paid before use. Users who do not pay the TollRO toll will also be subject to financial penalties.
