FCSB, the club owned by Gigi Becali, is facing a tax inspection from ANAF, which has identified expenses of 7,020,140 lei in the last five years, unjustified by Becali.

The ANAF software alerted inspectors regarding a high fiscal risk, suggesting that Becali may have outstanding debts to the state budget. The inspectors visited the club's headquarters and its accountant to analyze the relevant documents. Becali stated that he has nothing to pay, contesting the validity of the ANAF software, and explained that profit fluctuations in football are normal.

Following the inspection, ANAF will determine the exact amount that Becali owes to the state, estimating that if the expenses are confirmed, the debt could be approximately 1.1 million lei.
