The decree signed by Acting President Ilie Bolojan confers General Christopher G. Cavoli, Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe, the National Order 'Star of Romania' in the rank of Grand Officer, recognizing his contributions to Romania's security in the Black Sea region. Brigadier General Nicolae Ghiță Bârsan was also awarded the Order of 'Faithful Service' for his achievements in military education and scientific research.
