The United States Embassy in Bucharest sent a message on Sunday marking Romania’s Armed Forces Day, saluting Romanian troops and the strategic defense partnership between the two countries. U.S. representatives stressed that American and Romanian troops cooperate to ensure the security of NATO’s eastern flank through joint exercises and training sessions.
“Today, we salute the Romanian Armed Forces and the defense partnership built on trust and a shared commitment to NATO,” the embassy said on Facebook. The message was accompanied by the phrase “Stronger Together,” highlighting the cooperation between the two armies.
Also on Sunday, October 25, President Nicușor Dan attended the ceremony held at the “Lieutenant Gheorghe Mociorniță” 86th Air Base.
