Military and religious ceremonies are being organized today, October 25, in the main garrisons across the country, at military bases, and in theaters of operations, on the occasion of the Romanian Armed Forces Day. The events are held in memory of the heroes and to honor Romanian service members.

In Bucharest, the first ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Carol I Park, where wreaths and floral arrangements will be laid. The program includes the changing of the guard and an aerial flyover of the monument by Romanian Air Force aircraft. At 12:00 p.m., ceremonies are scheduled at the Heroes of the Homeland Monument in front of the „Carol I” National Defence University and at the Monument to the Heroes Fallen in Theaters of Operations and on the Territory of Romania.

President Nicușor Dan is attending the ceremony at the 86th Borcea Air Base, while Prime Minister Luca Niculescu is present at the events in Carol I Park. In the capital, the day concludes with a concert in Cișmigiu Park at 5:00 p.m. and a torchlight procession scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Events are also taking place in Satu Mare, Carei, Iași, Cluj-Napoca, and Păuliș. Similar ceremonies are being organized at garrisons, monuments, and military cemeteries across the country and in Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Moldova, and Hungary.
