Fuels have become more expensive again, prices are rising significantly

After a period of price reductions, fuel prices have increased again, according to data presented by Digi24. The price of diesel has risen by up to 20 bani per liter, while gasoline has increased by up to 15 bani.

In Bucharest, standard diesel starts at 10.53 lei per liter, while standard gasoline starts at 9.32 lei per liter. OMV Petrom, the market leader, has raised prices, and the increases have quickly spread to other gas station chains.

According to Digi24, all major networks have raised prices, except for Lukoil, which applied a smaller increase. The price of diesel is approaching 11 lei, while gasoline is just a few bani away from 10 lei.

In Bucharest, the lowest price for standard 95 gasoline was 9.32 lei per liter, while standard diesel started at 10.53 lei. Prices can vary significantly depending on the station and the time of the check.
