Friendship Bridge Day Giurgiu-Ruse: Free crossing for cars on June 20

The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) announces that on June 20, 2026, on the occasion of "Bridge Day", cars, including vehicles with up to 8+1 seats, will be able to cross the bridge over the Danube in the direction of Giurgiu - Ruse without paying the crossing fee.

This measure applies to lanes 1-4, dedicated to cars. Fees paid previously through the e-TGP application will not be associated with the crossing on this day, and the amounts paid will remain valid for future use, within a period of 12 months.

"Bridge Day" is celebrated annually on June 20, according to MT Order no. 1836/2018, which regulates the crossing fees for the use of this bridge.
