Ionel H., a former security guard, has sued the company Sam Security Elite SRL for unpaid overtime, night shifts, work done on weekends, and on legal holidays, during his four years of activity, from May 2019 to March 2023. The court has decided that the company must pay him 110,666 lei, after witnesses confirmed his statements.

According to the employment contract, Ionel H. was to receive a base salary of 2,080 lei and various bonuses, but these were not applied. The judicial expertise established that the agent worked 3,512 overtime hours, 3,097 hours on weekends, 3,760 night hours, and 384 hours on holidays. The court's decision is not final, as it has been contested by the company, and the appeal is currently being heard at the Court of Appeal.
