Forensic doctors and employees from institutes and services of forensic medicine will suspend their activity on Thursday, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, as a sign of protest against the persistent underfunding of the system and its absence from the list of budget priorities.

The protest highlights the importance of forensic evidence in justice, considering that without it, criminal investigations stagnate, affecting the rights of citizens. Forensic doctors criticize O.U.G. no. 7/2026 for the unfavorable provisions that affect their funding and salaries, as well as the lack of a fair assessment of the specifics of forensic activity. They demand the opening of a dialogue with the authorities to correct these issues, warning that ignoring them will lead to a degradation of the quality of the justice process.

The protest takes place within the premises of forensic institutions, ensuring only medical-judicial emergencies.
